UID Sarasehan Eps 4 Building Habits, Creating Happiness through Community featuring Indorunners Bali

Denpasar, Bali – April 25, 2026, -- United In Diversity (UID) held its fourth UID Sarasehan titled “Building Habits, Creating Happiness through Community featuring IndoRunners Bali” at UID Bali Campus. The session focused on how community plays a role in building consistent habits and supporting a healthier, more connected lifestyle. This edition was delivered in a more relaxed and activity-based format, combining discussion with shared experiences.

This was the first Sarasehan in the series to specifically highlight community as its main topic. Rather than approaching the discussion through a fully formal setting, the session explored how habits and well-being can be developed through everyday activities and shared interests. Participants were encouraged to engage through experience, not just conversation.

A total of 50 participants, primarily from IndoRunners Bali, joined the event. The program started with a light there-and-back run of approximately 5 km around the Serangan area, starting and finishing at UID Bali Campus. After the run, participants gathered for refreshments, followed by a sharing session and interactive activities.

The discussion session allowed participants to share their experiences and perspectives in an open setting. This was followed by two group games designed to help participants get to know each other and keep the atmosphere engaging.

Participants responded positively to the event. Helen from IndoRunners Bali shared, “Joining UID Sarasehan was great. We got the health benefits from the 5 km run, then refreshment, games, and interesting door prizes. It was really fun. I really liked today’s event.”

Another participant from IndoRunners Bali, Oei Kiem Gwan, said, “We were really happy to be invited to UID Bali Campus. The run around Serangan was very enjoyable, the environment was nice, and it made us more motivated. Hopefully, there will be more events like this in the future with other communities so we can keep supporting a healthy lifestyle together.” He also shared that IndoRunners Bali has become like a family for its members, where people can run together, support each other, and stay motivated toward a shared goal of healthy living.

Shobi Lawalata, Director of UID Bali Campus, stated that the Sarasehan series is held monthly as a way to build community for our better common future. She emphasized that simple activities such as gathering, exchanging ideas, and engaging in shared experiences can carry meaningful impact. This session with IndoRunners Bali, she noted, reflects how being part of a community can generate positive energy.

Through this session, UID Sarasehan Episode 4 highlighted that conversations around habits and well-being do not always need to happen in a formal setting. Activities like running together and community interaction can also create meaningful learning experiences and strengthen connections between participants.
