UID Bali Campus and Bali Flower Festival Turns Floral Passion into Sustainable Business

Bali, Indonesia — July 2026 — United In Diversity (UID) in collaboration with the Bali Flower Festival (BFF) and Markplus Institute, successfully convened UID Talk x Bali Flower Festival: Leading the Future of Market Growth on 14 July 2026 at the Awan Auditorium, UID Bali Campus. The event brought together a dynamic mix of industry leaders, florists, creative entrepreneurs, and business innovators to explore emerging trends and strategies shaping the future of the floral and creative economy.

Throughout the event, 110 participants from multiple cities across Indonesia engaged in a series of panel discussions, keynote sessions, and interactive forums addressing key themes such as sustainable business growth, innovation in floral design, branding in competitive markets, and adapting to global industry shifts. Edric Chandra, a seasoned marketer from Markplus Institute, spoke on the importance of business value and purpose, customer-focused innovation, and building lasting businesses through brand positioning, competitive advantage, and authenticity.

Rafael, the session's moderator and founder of Omniflora, said the program was designed to equip participants not only with the skill to create, but also the skill to sell. “Today, Omniflora collaborated with UID Bali Campus and brought in Markplus. The Bali Flower Festival teaches how to create a beautiful floral arrangement, but a good product must be matched with good selling skills. That is why we invited Markplus to share knowledge on how to build skills and expertise that actually sell. We hope these 110 participants leave with a stronger understanding of their own businesses”, he said.

Among the attendees was a florist who flew in from Makassar solely for the festival. Fadhilla, one of the founders of a florist business in Makassar, shared her excitement about the insights she gained, “Today I gained so much insight — that when we run a business, we need to know what values we hold. Does our business already have an identity? I also learned how to find the purpose that will help our business grow further in the future.”

Beyond the seminar and workshop sessions, Bali Flower Festival 3 successfully attracted 4,813 visitors over the two-day event. As the official venue partner, UID Bali Campus was proud to host the festival, reaffirming its commitment to becoming a hub that nurtures the next generation of leaders and innovators across sectors, including the creative industry.
