Tri Hita Karana Forum & G20 GBFA Conclude, Advancing Bali Kerthi Roadmap

Kura Kura Bali, June 20, 2025 – More than 100 stakeholders from government, businesses, academia, and civil society gathered today for the successful Tri Hita Karana Forum alongside the G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance (GBFA) at the United In Diversity (UID) Bali Campus, Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The forum, themed " New Era Bali Kerthi Roadmap: Quantum AI, Innovation, and Blended Finance for Better Business, Better World," yielded several strategic recommendations for accelerating Bali's economic transformation.

The dialogue was officially opened by Tantowi Yahya, President of the United In Diversity Foundation, who emphasized the importance of multi—stakeholder collaboration in realizing Bali’s economic transformation.

“Today’s dialogue invites us to move beyond discourse—to envision innovation and finance not just as tools for growth, but also as instruments for healing and regeneration. This is part of a global movement, including the G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance (GBFA), to unlick capital access, mitigate risks, and build a sustainable future.”

The one-day forum successfully formulated several key recommendations, summarized in four main pillars. First, it mobilized green investment through the G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance (GBFA), which successfully designed a strategy to connect global investors with sustainable projects in Bali. Second, it identified Bali's potential as a quantum hub for artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital economy in Southeast Asia. Third, it accelerated the clean energy transition through a commitment to public-private collaboration, thereby speeding up renewable energy projects. Fourth, it promoted the regenerative agriculture revolution as an integrated solution for food security and environmental conservation.

On the same occasion, Prof. Stella Christie, Indonesia’s Deputy Minister if Higher Education, Science, and Technology, added: “Sustainability and blended finance are crucial tools to unite academia, industry, and the private sector. Investment in Indonesia research and technology is not just potential—it’s a certainty. This is the foundation for economic growth, better business, and a better world.”

The event also featured by prominent figures, including Nani Hendiarti – Deputy for Food Accessibility and Security Coordination, Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Andry Setiawan, Member of the Board of Directors, Indonesia Investment Authority; Paul Polman, Former CEO of Unilever; Deepali Khanna, Rockefeller Foundation; and local business leaders such as I Nyoman Gede Suma Artha from Pasar Rakyat Bali.
