'KITA' Launching in the Tri Hita Karana Future Knowledge Summit at UID Bali Campus

Bali, Indonesia, has a great opportunity to lead sustainable development at both regional and global levels. To prepare for this, an innovative ecosystem is needed that enables faculty, students, experts, and industry to work together towards a better future. The launch of "Knowledge Innovation Technology Alliances" (KITA) at the Tri Hita Karana Future Knowledge Summit on Monday (14/11) at the UID Bali Campus, Kura Kura Bali, Serangan Island, Bali, is a concrete action in realizing global, regional, and local collaboration.

In line with the statement issued by the Vice President of United In Diversity (UID), Dr. Suyoto. Cooperation from various parties is needed to improve the quality of life and better preparedness of the younger generation. "I am grateful because local parties, namely universities, industry, and students, are interested in creating breakthroughs in innovation and technology," he said at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Eco Manufacturer (GEM) at the Tri Hita Karana Future Knowledge Summit at UID Bali Campus, this afternoon.

"We will soon proceed with planning more concrete joint activities, in line with the message from the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Prof. Ir. Nizam," he added.

Going forward, GEM will be involved in the GEM-UID International Green Technology Research and Development Institute. The presence of GEM with other global institutions will add to the strength of the UID Bali Campus as a centre for activities for global, regional, and local collaboration, said Dr. Suyoto. The signing of the MoU was also attended by representatives from the Islamic University of Malang, the University of Indonesia, and PT. Kalbe Farma Bogor Agricultural Institute, Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI), Hasanuddin University, Gajah Tunggal Polytechnic, Sorong Muhammadiyah University of Education, Gadjah Mada University, Malang State Polytechnic, and Gasing Academy.
