UID Bali Campus, Kura Kura Bali (12-13 July 2024) - Bali Flower Festival in collaboration with Omniflora, Ikatan Perangkai Bunga Indonesia or the Indonesian Flower Arranger Association (IPBI), and UID Bali Campus organized the Bali Flower Festival 2 entitled "Together with Balinese Floral Designer".

Attended by almost 1000 people, this festival includes many activities that visitors can participate in, such as a flower museum, exhibitions, flower arrangement workshops, talk shows, and many more. Participants were also treated to at least 55,000 flowers that were brought in for the festival. Grace Yanuar, a flower display designer who has designed flower displays in various hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-la Hotel, Gran Melia, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, and Ballroom XXI also attended the event. Also there, Trisha Liawati, CEO of Baleton Flower Chef, and many other florist owners and flower arrangers from Bali and outside Bali.

Bali Flower Festival not only aims to be a place for flower arrangers to showcase their work but also a place for flower lovers to learn more about the world of plants. At this festival, visitors also get important information about the types of flowers and their treatments. In the talk show session, the speakers also shared information and a blueprint to run a florist business, a promising business.

As a learning hub, UID is very pleased to play a catalytic role in connecting various sectors in this event, we believe that this collaboration can bring economic value to the flower activists who are collaborators in this event by showing their works to visitors, providing new knowledge for them, and opening up opportunities for wider cooperation through good networking.
